Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP)
We recommend RetroMAD1 for cats that have been diagnosed with Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) – wet or dry forms.
Retromad1 can be administered as follows:
1) By sub-cutaneous injection:
- Dose: 0.50ml per kg. Do NOT give intramuscular or intravenous injection.
- Daily: 2 times a day. There is no meal time restriction.
2) Duration: 20 to 40 days.
3) After 20 days, please visit your veterinarian for a review:
- Medical examination shows improvement in clinical signs.
- CBC and Blood chemistry results.
If you are already treating your cat using GS-441524 / Molnupiravir or have access to GS-441524 / Molnupiravir, you may combine both RetroMAD1 and GS-441524 / Molnupiravir to treat your cat. We have observed very positive results after only 15 days of the combined treatment.
After the cycle of treatment is completed, you may wish to carry out a PCR-test to see if FCoV can be detected in the blood/serum.
