Our Company

Since its founding in December 2011, our company has been dedicated in the research of ensuring that pets have a normal life expectancy and lead healthy and active lives with their family members. Our current research in molecular biology and recombinant biotechnology leads us to design and develop bioactive molecules that are derived naturally from the animal’s and plant’s natural defence mechanisms. Recombinant biotechnology simply means the use of beneficial micro-organisms to build these unique bioactive molecules on a commercially large scale so that they become affordable to pet owners. In the process of manufacture, further extensive research is done to demonstrate that these unique bioactive molecules have wide safety margins.

Our first molecule is RetroMAD1^® which has undergone more than 8 years of research. RetroMAD1^® is derived from the fusion of 3 naturally occurring antimicrobial peptides that are secreted by animal and plant cells when defending themselves against infectious agents like viruses. Medically important viral infections are FeLV, FIV, FIP, FPV in cats and CPV2 and CDV in dogs. RetroMAD1^® is an extremely safe molecule, with a safety index of at least 100.

Spurred by the success of RetroMAD1^®, our manufacturing team and quality assurance team endeavour to continue improving on the product and its formulation through feedback from stakeholders. At the same time, our scientists are hard at work in discovering and researching new molecules to maintain the health of pets, improve their recovery from a disease and simply saving lives.
